The Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering focuses on training professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of Aerospace Engineering in order to solve applied problems in various sectors of industry and research. It also targets professionals in research areas who want to further develop their investigative and academic proposals at an advanced level.
It is primarily aimed at Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, and Electronic Engineers, as well as professionals from related fields such as Administrative Sciences, who are interested in innovation, technological and scientific development, and strategic management within the field of Aerospace Engineering.
They will be highly trained professionals, well-versed in the state of the art of their chosen area of emphasis, and capable of conducting high-quality research, innovation, technology transfer, and/or development within the field. Therefore, the graduate will be prepared to:
Students in the Master’s Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering must take three (3) courses from the following Compulsory Specific Courses to complete the 12 credits required in the Foundation Component.
Likewise, these Compulsory Specific courses can be taken in any semester in order to fulfill the required number of credits.
To fulfill the credits for Elective Specific Courses, students in the Research modality must complete a total of 12 credits in Electives.
The list of Elective Specific Courses will vary according to the semester course offerings programmed by the Graduate Committee, taking into account the number of pre-registered students per course (minimum 2 students per course).
